ABOUT THE PROGRAM-
Complete beginners, or people who have dabbled but never built a real foundation. If you've tried apps, had a tutor or two, or picked up some Greek informally but feel like you're missing the structure — this is exactly where First Day Greek starts.

No. The only thing we ask is that you complete Read Greek First — a short pre-course module that teaches you the Greek alphabet and basic phonics — before your first session. It takes a few hours and makes an enormous difference to how quickly you progress from day one.

Most people who've tried and plateaued didn't fail — their method did. Apps, casual tutors, and immersion-only approaches rarely give adult learners the structural foundation they need to generate language rather than just recall phrases. That's exactly the gap the Clear Greek Method is designed to fill.

Two live sessions per week — 90 minutes on the first day, 60 minutes on the second. For every hour in the classroom, plan for an hour of practice outside it. Vocabulary review, assignments, and group practice with your cohort. It's a real commitment — and that's why it works.

Live sessions run on Zoom. Course materials, vocabulary lists, assignments, and quizzes are all hosted on our dedicated learning platform. Before your first session, you'll receive a simple tech guide so you know exactly where everything is.
ABOUT DEEPER GREEK-
Yes. Deeper Greek is a live, small-group program built for heritage speakers and intermediate learners who already have some Greek and want to go further. It's not a beginner course — it's an adaptive, conversation-driven group guided by the Clear Greek Method. ABOUT THE METHOD-
Most language programs make a choice — immersion and natural input on one side, explicit grammar instruction on the other. The Clear Greek Method uses both, because the research on adult language acquisition supports both. You'll understand how Greek works analytically, and you'll practice it in real, emotionally engaging contexts. The result is a learner who can generate language, not just retrieve it.
ABOUT ENROLLMENT-
Cohort dates are listed on the First Day Greek page. Spots are limited to eight students — when a cohort fills, it fills. If you're interested, the best first step is to book a free consultation with Michael so we can find the right cohort for your schedule.

Life happens. Sessions are not recorded for distribution, but if you miss a session Michael will make sure you're caught up before the next one. That said — consistent attendance is important. The cohort moves together, and gaps in attendance affect your progress and the group dynamic. If you know your schedule is unpredictable in the coming weeks, it may be worth waiting for the next cohort.
