Want to learn Greek with me?
The Greek Academy officially opens on September 1st. I'm building it for people who feel the pull of the language and are serious about learning Greek.
There are two learning options this fall (read more below). First Day Greek is capped at 16 students, and Deeper Greek runs in small groups of 8–10, added as demand warrants.
Below, you'll find two grand opening offers that I'm extending immediately. If you're interested, the best first step is hopping on a call with me.
Two programs, one destination.
Program 1: First Day Greek
A 10-week, small-group cohort for complete beginners, or for anyone who's dabbled but never built a real foundation. Two live sessions a week on Zoom. Maximum 8 students. Built around the Clear Greek Method, which combines structured grammar with immersive practice. This is like a university course, with a dedicated online classroom, curriculum, and accountability system.
After these ten weeks, you'll be able to step off a plane in Greece and knock out a whole day’s worth of real conversations.
Program 2: Deeper Greek
This is a live, adaptive small-group for heritage speakers and intermediate learners who already have some Greek but feel stuck. You’ll improve your conversational skills, build confidence by looking under the hood at some grammar, and build relevant vocab that’s common in Greece but not so common in the diaspora.
Don’t let your Greek stop in the kitchen or the xorio;) Leveling up will deepen your experience of Greece significantly.
Not sure which is the better fit? Book some time with me and we can figure it out.
Two offers for people getting in right now.
Offer 1: Priority Enrollment
If you book a consultation before August 1st, you get first access to enroll, before spots open to the public.
First Day Greek only has 16 spots this fall across two cohorts. If you’re looking at that program, take advantage of early enrollment because, once those seats are taken, they’re gone.
Offer 2: Grand Opening Bring-a-Friend Discount
Enroll with a friend, sibling, cousin, or your yiayia before September 1st, and you both get 25% off your first TGA program.
Learning Greek is better with a friend or loved one.
To redeem: mention this offer when you book your consultation. We'll sort it out from there.
Not sure where to start? Let's talk.
If you know you want to learn Greek but aren’t sure if either of these courses fit right now, book a free 30-minute Learning Consultation with me. We'll figure out where you are, what you're working toward, and the best way to get you there. I’m happy to recommend resources and learning paths outside The Greek Academy if that’s what will work best for you.
Programs are capped at 8–10 students per group and run in the several-hundred-dollar range. If you're on the fence about whether this is right for you, reach out right here:
If I can do it, so can you.
I started learning Greek at 18, sitting in my family's village, watching my mother translate between two worlds. I wanted to speak for myself. That decision changed my life. I went on to study Modern Greek at university, spent years in independent study, made real friends in Athens, and eventually became a published translator and professor — someone Greek people in Greece regularly mistake for a native speaker.
I formally studied linguistics in Thessaloniki, and at the same time I developed the Clear Greek Method, and built The Greek Academy around a single conviction: adults can learn Greek better than they think they can. Adult learners simply need a method built for the way they actually learn — not the way children do, and not the way apps promise them that they will. Every student at TGA gets real structure, real accountability, and a teacher who made the exact journey they're about to make.
I hope to meet you soon:)
